Description
The Town of Stratford is seeking statements of qualifications from development entities interested in redeveloping a 23-acre municipally owned former regional care facility for affordable housing. The Town's goal is to create at least 100 affordable senior housing units. The site includes an administration building, two deteriorating buildings that may be rehabilitated or demolished for replacement construction, an indoor swimming pool, and existing electric, water, and sewer utilities. Respondents should describe their organization, relevant development experience, proposed project approach, personnel and subcontractors, regulatory and housing-funding expertise, required Town assistance, disciplinary history, and references for similar projects, including senior or affordable housing and projects involving municipalities or public housing authorities. Shortlisted firms may later be invited to participate in a subsequent redevelopment proposal process.
