Description

The City of Bridgeport is soliciting a single contractor for a citywide, unit-price program covering repair and replacement of concrete and bituminous sidewalks, concrete, granite, stone, and bituminous curbs, driveway aprons and ramps, ADA sidewalk ramps, detectable warning surfaces, and related work. Work will be issued through individual work orders at locations throughout the city and may include excavation and disposal, pavement repair, tree pits and gates, lighting and conduit, catch basin relocation, truncated domes, benches, trash receptacles, and other listed unit-price items. The resulting contract is intended to run for two years, with a possible one-year extension, using fixed unit prices. The contractor must be licensed in Connecticut, obtain required permits and licenses, comply with prevailing-wage and applicable labor requirements, and provide the required insurance.
