Description
The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is requesting Expressions of Interest from qualified, prequalified professional engineering firms to provide construction supervision and inspection services for bridge repairs and resurfacing under Contract No. T100.623. The work includes bridge deck reconstruction and repairs, joint and approach-slab repairs, waterproofing, resurfacing, structural steel and bearing repairs, drainage and electrical work, pavement striping, traffic protection, and emergency and routine repairs. The selected firm must provide a project manager, resident engineer, inspectors, office engineering support, CADD support, and scheduling services; manage testing laboratories, materials, shop drawings, schedules, payment documentation, safety communications, quality control, and closeout deliverables; and maintain as-built records and best-practices documentation. Firms must be prequalified under Profile Codes B156 and B157, and the EOI must address the specified technical evaluation factors, including similar-project experience, personnel qualifications, approach, staffing, quality management, and SBE/DVOB participation. The SBE goal is 25%, and the DVOB good-faith-effort goal is 3%.
