Description
The New Jersey Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for a contract to provide microsurfacing and slurry seal pavement systems. The work includes furnishing and placing polymer-modified asphalt emulsion microsurfacing and slurry seal on bituminous-treated or concrete surfaces, along with incidental work such as micro-milling, crack sealing, traffic striping, raised pavement marker installation, and concrete repairs. The contract will be awarded by region—Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey—and work will be performed on state, county, and municipal roads as directed by the using agency. The contract has a three-year base term with two one-year extension options. The solicitation requires electronic submission through NJSTART, and Amendment #1 confirms that hard-copy quotes are not accepted. No bid bond or performance bond is required. A small-business subcontracting set-aside applies to Categories 1, 2, and 3.
