Description
The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission seeks a consulting team of transportation planners and traffic engineers to evaluate current and future traffic operations, crash history, access conditions, multimodal conditions, land use, development potential, and environmental and infrastructure constraints along the US 130 corridor in Burlington and Mercer Counties, New Jersey. The study will assess existing zoning build-out and a policy alternative involving shared, consolidated, or redirected access, including impacts on congestion and safety. The work includes project administration, stakeholder and municipal coordination, data collection, GIS mapping, existing-conditions analysis, scenario reports, policy analysis, model ordinance or overlay-zoning recommendations, implementation planning, and draft and final reports. Deliverables include maps, technical memoranda, reports, meeting materials, an implementation matrix, and a file geodatabase with an ArcGIS Professional Project file. The project should be substantially complete within 12 months of notice to proceed, followed by up to six additional months for agency-review comments. The contract is expected to be cost-reimbursable with a fixed fee and a not-to-exceed amount; DVRPC may negotiate up to four additional years of related work if funding becomes available.
