Description
North Carolina State University is seeking a vendor to produce and distribute three personalized mailings supporting its triennial Baccalaureate Alumni Survey. The scope includes printing personalized letters, envelopes, and postcards; assembling, stuffing, labeling, sealing, stamping or applying indicia, preparing USPS trays and paperwork, and mailing approximately 17,800 first-mailing packages, 16,000 postcards, and 15,200 third-mailing packages. The vendor must also provide approximately 17,800 two-sided, one-color, 3.5-inch round pulpboard coaster incentives that do not increase postage costs. NC State will provide electronic content and contact files for each mailing, while the vendor is responsible for printing, assembly, and mailing costs. All work must be performed in-house except that coaster printing may be subcontracted with university approval of an electronic proof. The vendor must provide proofs for approval, support university spot checks, maintain a security plan covering building security, data security, and disaster recovery, demonstrate experience with large-scale personalized mailings and sensitive data, provide recommendations and three similar references from the past three years, meet a five-business-day turnaround after receiving electronic files, and deliver unused materials to the university. The vendor will not administer the online survey.
