Description
The Town of Cary is soliciting bids for annual pricing and delivery of approximately 200 wet tons of liquid fluorosilicic acid at a minimum 23% aqueous concentration for drinking-water treatment. The material must comply with AWWA B703-19, or the latest revision, ANSI/NSF Standard 60, and the specified impurity, purity, safety, and domestic-production requirements. The awarded supplier must provide bulk tanker deliveries of approximately 4,000–4,500 gallons, generally within 48 hours of notification, with suitable unloading equipment, discharge hose, safety equipment, certified weight certificates, and required safety documentation. Bidders must submit the provided bid proposal form, manufacturer information, pricing, qualifications, a material safety data sheet and product specification sheet, an affidavit of compliance, an independent laboratory report, ANSI/NSF Standard 60 acceptance documentation, a product-commitment letter, and at least three municipal water-utility references. The contract is for an initial one-year period with up to two additional one-year extensions, subject to agreement, need, and funding.
