Description
The Village of Wilmette is seeking a supplier for bulk water treatment chemicals, including liquid aluminum sulfate, proprietary coagulant products, fluorosilicic acid, and sodium hypochlorite. The contract requires unit pricing for estimated annual quantities and includes delivery to the Village's water plant in sealed, dedicated tanker trucks with certified weight tickets, certificates of analysis, metered quantities where applicable, tamper-evident seals, and advance delivery information. Products must be approved by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, certified to applicable ANSI/AWWA standards, and NSF Standard 60 approved. Bidders must provide product approval documentation, a typical lot analysis, product information sheet, and material safety data sheet. The submission also requires completed bid forms, bidder information, at least three municipal performance references, an exception sheet, signed affirmations and certifications, and documentation demonstrating the required product approvals. The contract is for two years beginning January 1, 2027, with the Village retaining the option to award a one-year term instead.
