Description
The City of St. Petersburg, Florida is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of ferric chloride on an as-needed basis to the Southwest Water Reclamation Facility located at 3800 54th Avenue South, St. Petersburg, Florida 33711. The ferric chloride must be a liquid solution with a concentration of not less than 35% and not greater than 42% by weight, and must conform to AWWA Standard B407. The estimated annual usage is approximately 108,800 gallons, equivalent to approximately 306 dry tons. Deliveries will be made in bulk quantities, with an average order volume of approximately 3,200 gallons. The vendor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for delivery and pumping into the storage tanks, and must comply with all applicable regulations for hazardous material transportation. The initial contract term is three years, with two optional one-year renewals.
