Description
The Reading Area Water Authority is seeking bids for the 2027 supply of 14 water treatment chemicals: powdered activated carbon, anionic polymer, aqua ammonia, citric acid, chlorine, copper sulfate, permanganate, sodium hydroxide, sodium phosphate, sodium bisulfite, sodium hypochlorite, PACL, zinc orthophosphate, and sodium silicofluoride. The solicitation is structured as a term contract with separate pricing sections for each chemical. Bids must be submitted online through the PennBid program. Required submission information includes the submitting individual's name, title, email address, and phone number; a bid bond PDF for each chemical bid; required supporting documents; addenda acknowledgment; and completed Excel pricing templates for each chemical selected. Additional documents may be uploaded optionally. The solicitation lists a bid decision date of October 23, 2026.
