Description
The City of Shelby is soliciting sealed proposals for the labor and equipment necessary to complete the Circuit 8-4 Distribution Line Improvement project. The solicitation concerns a specific utility-line construction project and requires bidders to submit a bid deposit consisting of either a certified or cashier's check or a satisfactory bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid. The successful bidder must provide separate 100% performance and payment bonds after award; those bonds are not required with the initial proposal. Proposals may not be withdrawn for 90 days after receipt. The City encourages participation by minority business enterprises and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
