Gaston County is soliciting Statements of Qualification from qualified firms to provide professional architectural and engineering services for a Transfer Station Feasibility Study. The study will support evaluation of potential coordination or combination of Gaston County and the City of Gastonia solid waste and recycling operations. The work is intended to assess opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery, make better use of existing resources and infrastructure, identify potential cost savings, and support long-term solid waste management planning and future growth.
