Description
The City of Red Deer is seeking proposals from a qualified utility contractor to provide construction and maintenance services for overhead and underground electric distribution linework. The scope includes quoting on construction and design packages for major projects such as new residential subdivision servicing with street lighting, 25 kV feeder rebuilds, electrical distribution asset replacement, subdivision rebuilds, and inspection and testing of electrical distribution network infrastructure. The contractor may also supplement the City's crews during normal business hours, vacation periods, and emergency responses. The agreement will have an initial one-year term, with the City's option to extend it for four additional one-year periods.
