Description
The City of Athens Utilities is soliciting bids from a qualified contractor for construction of the Belle Mina Substation, including all associated cabling and terminations. The contractor must have the capabilities and certifications necessary for electric substation construction and experience with similar projects involving TVA local power companies. Bidders must have maintained continuous business operations for at least 60 months before submitting a bid and demonstrate adequate personnel, equipment, construction facilities, and financial capacity to provide the required capital funding. Plans and specifications are available for examination by appointment at the City of Athens Utilities office.
