Description
The Town of Cramerton is soliciting proposals for construction of the Lower Cramer Mountain Trail Section. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, and incidental services required for mobilization, clearing, trail layout, excavation, grading, drainage features, stream crossings or bridges where shown in the plans, aggregate or stone surfacing, retaining features, erosion and sedimentation controls, stabilization, restoration, cleanup, and correction of deficiencies. Proposers must be licensed general contractors in North Carolina and demonstrate at least three years of public-project experience, including at least three completed natural-surface and three completed improved-surface trail projects as the prime contractor within the past five years. The proposal must include company and licensing information, project experience and references, project-team information, insurance evidence, bonding-capacity documentation, lump-sum pricing, and a proposed project schedule. The contract term is stated as running from the effective date through June 30, 2027, with work beginning after written notice to proceed.
