Description
Logansport Utilities is soliciting sealed bids for construction work replacing wooden transmission poles with new steel poles and replacing wood distribution poles. The work includes transferring existing 69 kV conductors, 13.2 kV underbuild conductors, and associated distribution facilities. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, and construction equipment; the Owner will furnish all materials and complete right-of-way clearing, easements, and highway permits. Construction is scheduled to begin April 1, 2027, and all work must be completed by September 1, 2027. A bid bond is required with the bid proposal, and the successful contractor must furnish a contractor's bond and certificate of insurance. All forms and bidding documents required by the solicitation must be completed and submitted with the bid.
