Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive non-infectious waste removal, non-edible garbage collection, recycling collection and processing, container and compactor services, transportation, disposal, and related equipment for a 90-day bridge period. The requirement includes scheduled and on-call servicing of compactors, front-end loaders, dumpsters, recycling bins, brush containers, metal containers, and construction-and-demolition waste containers, along with replacement containers, maintenance, cleanup, weight tickets, recycling reports, and sales receipts for marketed recyclable materials. The contractor must provide the personnel, vehicles, equipment, containers, permits, licenses, insurance verification, safety plan, quality-control program, and Florida recycling operator certifications necessary to begin uninterrupted performance on October 1, 2026. Services cover general and recyclable waste streams and must comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. The Government identifies Tri-County Recycling, Inc., the incumbent contractor, as the intended source for this bridge requirement while a competitive follow-on acquisition is completed; other responsible sources may submit quotations or capability statements.
