Description
This project involves the installation and replacement of ADA-compliant ramps, sidewalks, and a concrete stairway at the Municipal Library. The scope of work includes demolition of existing site features, modification and installation of concrete ramps, concrete sidewalk replacement, entryway and concrete stair removal and replacement, handrail removal and re-installation, concrete curb replacement, and concrete cheekwall replacement. All necessary traffic control, site preparation, access, site protection, and site restoration are also included. Contract documents, including drawings and detailed specifications, can be obtained from Gibson-Thomas Engineering in Wexford, PA, upon payment of $125.00 for each set of bid documents. Specifications can be mailed upon request at no additional charge. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the contract number and project title, to the Murrysville Municipal Building. Bidders are responsible for viewing the project locations independently. Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms and accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a surety company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, for an amount equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the total proposal amount. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates and adherence to Act 127 of 2012 are required. Proposals cannot be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after submission.
