Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Division of Purchases, is issuing a Request for Bid (RFB) for a master agreement to supply ready mix concrete and related materials to the Division of Maintenance and other state agencies. The contract covers the provision of various classes of concrete (Class A, AA, B), flowable fill, grout, hot water, ice, non-chloride accelerator, super-plasticizer, and concrete blocks (2x2x2, 2x2x4, 2x2x6) to any destination within the following counties: Ballard, Bracken, Breckinridge, Calloway, Campbell, Carlisle, Edmonson, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Jackson, Knox, Marshall, McCracken, Pendleton, Rockcastle, and Wayne. Vendors must have their concrete plants approved by the Division of Materials prior to award. Bids are submitted online via the Kentucky Vendor Self Service (VSS) system, with actual bid prices entered on the attached bid sheet and uploaded as an attachment. The contract will have an initial period ending April 30, 2027, with four optional one-year renewals. Delivery orders will be placed per project location, and payment is based on quantities received at the contract unit price.
