Description
This solicitation is for siding replacement on seven buildings located on the Teton Basin and Dubois Ranger Districts. The project involves removing and disposing of existing siding, wrapping buildings with house wrap, and replacing siding with fiber cement siding on the Dubois Ranger District and insulated steel siding on the Driggs Bunkhouse. Additionally, two beams on the Dubois Bunkhouse will require trimming with matching wrap/cladding, and the soffit and fascia on the Driggs Bunkhouse will need replacement. The work will be performed in Clark County, Idaho, and Teton County, Idaho. The contractor is responsible for all mobilization, selective demolition, installation of building wrap, sheathing, siding, soffit, fascia, and related trim. Traffic control and construction signing must conform to the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The contractor must provide temporary toilet facilities and ensure all construction equipment is pressure washed before entering National Forest System lands to prevent the transport of noxious weeds. The project is set aside for small business concerns, with an applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code of 236220 and a small business size standard of $45.0 million. The anticipated award type is a firm-fixed-price contract. The contractor is required to commence work within 14 calendar days after notice to proceed and complete the entire project by October 15, 2026.
