Description
The City of Malden is soliciting bids for historical masonry restoration services at 139 Oliver Street. Contract documents will be available by email request after 10:00 AM on June 17, 2026. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM on July 8, 2026, at the City of Malden Controller's Office, 215 Pleasant Street, Malden, MA 02148. Bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit of at least five percent (5%) of the bid value, in the form of a bid bond, cash, a certified check, or a treasurer's or cashier's check. The successful bidder will be required to furnish both a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 50% of the contract total. All bids are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. c149, §§ 44A to 44J, and wages are subject to minimum wage rates determined by the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards.
