Description
The Manchester Housing Authority is soliciting sealed bids for chimney repair services at the Elderly 667-01 Newport Park Development in Manchester, Massachusetts. The project involves demolition work, including the removal of loose mortar, deteriorated bricks, lead flashing, concrete chimney caps, and asphalt shingles. New work will include the replacement of masonry mortar, bricks, lead flashing, metal chimney caps, and asphalt shingles for six chimneys. The estimated cost for this project is $85,146.25. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 SS 44A-J and minimum wage rates. Requests for Information (RFIs) must be submitted via email to Jessica Juncker at jjuncker@vancestein.com by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026. General bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, and will be opened immediately thereafter. This is an electronic bid (E-Bid) project, and all bids must be prepared and submitted online at Projectdog.com. Hard copy bids will not be accepted. A bid deposit of not less than five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount is required.
