Description
Kentucky State University is soliciting bids for the replacement of the roof on the Betty White Health Center. The project involves tearing off the existing built-up roof membrane, sheet metal, metal counter flashings, and other roof components. A new tapered insulation system will be installed using insulation adhesive, followed by a new 2-ply SBS-modified bituminous membrane system (cold/cold). The work also includes demolition of existing skylights, a screen wall, and associated electrical conduit and boxes, as well as installation of a new lightning protection system using existing grounding locations. The estimated project cost is $260,000.00, with an estimated duration of 60 days to substantial completion plus 30 days to final completion.
