Description
Fayette County Public Schools is soliciting proposals from vendors able to provide a broad catalog of science equipment, laboratory materials, and supplies at a stated discount from catalog, price-list, or website pricing. Examples include preserved specimens, chemicals, glassware, laboratory safety goggles, balances, thermometers, hot plates, magnets, microscope slides, and related educational science supplies. The district will use sample pricing for evaluation, but items will not be individually awarded; multiple vendors may be selected, and the district is not obligated to purchase a minimum quantity. The selected vendor must support orders from individual schools and departments, provide delivery to the district warehouse or another purchase-order-designated location, offer freight-free delivery for qualifying items weighing 70 pounds or less, and disclose applicable charges for hazardous, live, oversized, or heavier materials. The proposal must include a completed cover page and signature, technical proposal, references, cost proposal and discount, applicable tax and residency documents, completed W-9, proof of insurance, and other checklist items. The contract is intended to run from January 1 through December 31, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals.
