Description
The project will replace the existing OP-1 interior air handling unit serving the second-floor operating rooms in Pavilion H at UK Chandler Medical Center with a new exterior air handling unit. The work also includes a modular air-cooled chiller to support lower operating-room temperatures, a dedicated reverse-osmosis water system, controls integrated with the existing building automation system, structural framing, architectural modifications, electrical work, fire protection modifications, demolition, and restoration. Available bid trades are General Trades, Demolition, Structural Steel, Mechanical, and Electrical. The opportunity is a construction project involving multiple coordinated building systems and hospital operating-room infrastructure.
