Description
The University of Kentucky is soliciting sealed lump-sum bids from prime contractors for renovation of the fourth floor of Patterson Office Tower. The scope includes furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, tools, appliances, equipment, and services necessary to complete the construction project in accordance with the plans, specifications, drawings, and contract documents. The contractor must achieve substantial completion within 394 consecutive calendar days from the commencement date specified in the Work Order letter, followed by final completion 30 days later. Bids must be submitted on the University's official proposal form and include a bid bond. The successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds. The apparent low bidder may also be required to attend a post-bid meeting.
