Description
The University of Kentucky is soliciting bids to establish a price contract for printing and binding the Kentucky Law Journal and the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture & Natural Resources Law. The scope includes printing approximately four issues annually of the Kentucky Law Journal at approximately 800 copies per issue and approximately three issues annually of the second journal at approximately 300 copies per issue, with specified page ranges, paper requirements, color covers, perfect binding, and reprint production. The contractor must provide proofs, meet stated production and shipping turnaround times, furnish a customized macro conversion program for electronically submitted copy, provide initial training and technical assistance, prepare files for Lexis and Westlaw databases, and support shipping, labeling, and mailing services. Bidders must provide paper specifications, pricing for the listed printing, reprint, typesetting, paste-up, and mailing-related services, one original bid, one USB drive, and at least three recent law-school journal samples for Series I consideration.
