Description
Jessamine County Fiscal Court is soliciting sealed bids for renovation of the Blue Building. The scope includes ADA compliance; demolition and reconstruction of existing restrooms and kitchen areas; replacement of plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, appliances, partitions, dispensers, vents, and mirrors; new drop ceilings, lighting, slip-resistant flooring, roof-eave extensions, and a ridge vent; replacement of an overhead door; upgrades to interior doors, locks, electrical panels, wiring, and programmable entry locks; metal awnings; expanded concrete porches and sidewalks; interior painting; and debris hauling to the Convenience Center, with the county paying disposal costs. The county will select the final fixtures, cabinetry, appliances, and partitions. Work must be completed by March 1, 2027. Award will use a best-value ranking approach based on price and experience. A minimum of five years of experience is required, and bidders must submit unit and total prices on the itemized bid sheet. The solicitation also requires applicable insurance, occupational-tax registration and compliance, adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, and supporting affidavits for bidders claiming Kentucky resident or qualified-bidder status.
