Description
Clermont County Commissioners are soliciting bids for the construction of a new CTC building and bus canopy at the Filager Campus. The general construction scope includes demolition, site preparation, excavation, grading, foundations, concrete, masonry, metals, roofing and moisture protection, doors and windows, finishes, specialties, equipment, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression, electrical, voice/data, landscaping, pavement, temporary facilities, project signage, and related work. The project also includes parking and utility improvements, with required soil remediation, structural fill, compaction, dewatering, and construction quality-control activities. The bid includes a base construction scope and two alternates: Alternate 1 for the CTC bus canopy package and Alternate 2 for a Bosch fire alarm system. Bidders must provide unit prices for contaminated soils, unsuitable material, excavation, concrete and gravel fills, controlled-density fill, cement and lime-kiln stabilization, and fabric geogrid. The project is federally funded and requires federal prevailing-wage compliance and Build America, Buy America compliance. The completion period is 420 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, and liquidated damages are $2,000 per day.
