Description
The University of Northern Colorado, through its Disability Resource Center, is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms and independent providers to furnish as-needed auxiliary communication and accessibility services. Required capabilities include in-person and remote American Sign Language interpreting, DeafBlind support, tactile interpreting, team and specialized interpreting, and related communication access services for classes, laboratories, appointments, meetings, events, performances, commencement activities, and other university-sponsored activities. Respondents must demonstrate organizational experience, qualified personnel and certifications, service capacity and geographic coverage, scheduling and assignment-matching procedures, remote-service technology, quality assurance, contingency and substitution procedures, confidentiality practices, and operational capacity. The procurement uses a two-phase evaluation: qualifications-based shortlisting followed by possible interviews, additional information, and pricing requests for shortlisted respondents. The university may make one or more awards for an initial one-year term with up to four additional one-year renewal terms; services will be requested as needed, with no guaranteed minimum quantity of work or compensation.
