Description
The ScholarShare Investment Board is soliciting quotes for as-needed written translation, live language interpretation, and document design services supporting the California Kids Investment and Development Savings Program and other agency needs. Written translation may involve forms, webpages, logos, slogans, guides, notifications, outreach and promotional materials, video scripts, and technical documents in languages including Arabic, Armenian, Chinese, Farsi, French, German, Hindi, Hmong, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Lao, Mien, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. Each translation must include a certification of accuracy, with normal turnaround generally expected within two weeks. The contractor must also provide live interpretation, including American Sign Language, for in-person and virtual meetings, webinars, presentations, and other events. Some translated materials must be redesigned in Adobe InDesign or another format, with culturally and contextually appropriate imagery and delivery in final or editable versions. The agreement is scheduled for January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028, with a maximum amount of $50,000 and a possible one-year extension of up to $25,000. Bidders must be California-certified small businesses or microbusinesses, maintain a California office, demonstrate at least three years of relevant experience and three similar projects within the past five years, and submit the required pricing, qualifications, certifications, and forms.
