Description
Weld County, through its Department of Human Services, is soliciting proposals for armed security guard services at multiple offices in Greeley, Fort Lupton, and Longmont. The contractor must provide five armed guards and a dedicated security supervisor for 216 hours of weekly coverage, including weekday and weekend operations, with additional after-hours coverage available upon request. Services include facility and parking-lot monitoring, access and public-movement control, incident reporting, emergency response, de-escalation, trauma-informed interactions, and protection of staff, clients, visitors, property, and confidential materials. Guards must meet specified age, education, licensing, background-check, firearms, OC-spray, training, and experience requirements. Proposals must include a professional response addressing the scope, staffing, training, transition, quality control, organizational information, comparable projects, and references, along with the completed proposal response form and required acknowledgments. The initial contract term is January 1 through December 31, 2027, with up to three additional annual renewals.
