Description
Poudre School District R-1 is seeking qualifications from general contractors to create a shortlist of prequalified vendors for smaller construction projects performed on an as-needed basis throughout the school year, particularly during summer and other school-break periods. Potential work includes interior renovations and remodels, building repairs and facility improvements, structural and building-envelope repairs, ADA improvements, site and exterior improvements, selective demolition, architectural work, specialty-trade coordination, minor additions, deferred-maintenance and capital-improvement projects, and emergency or time-sensitive repairs. Vendors must demonstrate at least five years of general-contractor experience, completion of at least three similar K-12 projects within the previous five years, experience working in occupied or operational schools, qualified project-management and on-site supervision, subcontractor and specialty-trade management, compressed-schedule capabilities, quality-control procedures, satisfactory performance history, applicable licenses and permits, and sufficient personnel, equipment, and organizational capacity. The District may prequalify multiple vendors; individual projects will be solicited separately through formal pricing quotes and generally awarded to the lowest responsive bidder, subject to other stated considerations. The response must include qualifications and scope responses, a letter addressing specified business-history matters, three project references, and the completed Qualification Certification Form.
