Description
El Paso Independent School District is seeking proposals from qualified, certified, and experienced firms to provide written translation, transcription, spoken-language interpretation, over-the-phone and video-remote interpretation, and American Sign Language interpretation. Services will support students, families, employees, and community stakeholders, including instructional and communication support for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. ASL services may include on-site and off-site interpretation, school and community events, employee meetings, and prerecorded ASL interpretation synchronized with district-produced video content. The solicitation anticipates multiple awards and a one-year initial term with up to four additional one-year renewal terms. Vendors must provide qualified and certified personnel, relevant experience, certifications, resumes, a quality assurance plan, three school-district references, financial statements for the past two fiscal years, a certificate of insurance, and required vendor, certification, and compliance forms. Pricing is requested for translation, transcription, in-person and emergency interpretation, video-remote and telephone interpretation, language-interpretation headset systems, and ASL services.
