Description
Ontario County is soliciting a contractor to perform on-demand roof repairs and replacements at various County buildings and other authorized County facilities. Work will be issued as individual projects through purchase orders, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum volume; individual projects generally will not exceed $30,000, and larger projects may be solicited separately. The contractor must provide labor, materials, tools, supervision, transportation, permits, cleanup, written quotes and work plans, and equipment as needed. Emergency work requires a qualified representative to respond to the site within two hours and, when approved, be prepared to perform the repair within 72 hours of the initial call. Bidders must price percentages above prevailing wage, material costs, and equipment costs, plus a non-prevailing-wage hourly labor rate. The agreement is for 12 months from award, with up to four additional 12-month renewals. Required response materials include the completed bid forms and schedule, notarized certifications, insurance documentation, New York State Department of Labor certification, catastrophic emergency contact list, equipment listing and rates, and IRS Form W-9.
