Description
The Sunrise Recreation and Park District is soliciting bids for replacement of the Foothills Community Center roofing systems. The work includes removal and disposal of existing roofing, insulation, flashings, gutters, downspouts, edge metal, and related materials; inspection and approved replacement of damaged decking and wood blocking; installation of a 24-gauge standing-seam metal roofing system over self-adhering underlayment; and installation of a low-slope modified roofing system, flashings, coping, gutters, downspouts, vents, pipe boots, and related sheet-metal work. The contractor must provide a complete watertight, warrantied assembly and comply with the project specifications, prevailing-wage requirements, and applicable codes. The bidder must hold an active California Class C-39 roofing license. The proposal must include the required bid forms, subcontractor designation, non-collusion declaration, workers’ compensation certificate, project-schedule acknowledgment, bid security, and acknowledgment of all issued addenda. A 10% bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check is required. Separate payment and performance bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount, are required before contract execution. The project manual states that work is to be completed by April 30, 2027, and includes specified insurance requirements, including general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and excess liability coverage.
