Description
SaskPower is seeking an engineering, procurement, and construction contractor to deliver a new nominal 55 MW reciprocating internal combustion engine generating facility. The scope includes detailed engineering and design, equipment and materials procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, start-up support, project closeout, and transition to operations. The facility is intended to replace aging generating assets and provide dependable regional generation capacity. The successful proponent must achieve commercial operation on or before October 31, 2029, but not before that date. The opportunity is being procured through a competitive RFP process, with a proposed 36-month contract period.
