Description
The project includes construction of a new 69 kV terminal addition, with substation modifications to integrate a new circuit. Work includes foundations, structural steel, breaker and switch installation, bus modifications, grounding, conduit and cable installation, relay and metering panels, protection and control upgrades, and testing and commissioning. GRDA will furnish specified equipment and materials; the contractor must provide the remaining labor, equipment, materials, and construction services. The transmission scope includes installing a steel pole structure, conductor, OPGW, and shield wire, connecting the new circuit to the existing facility, and completing associated foundations, grounding, and right-of-way restoration. The bid must include the specified proposal attachments, at least five similar-project references, supervisory personnel resumes, and safety records for the bidder and proposed subcontractors. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting is required to submit a bid.
