Description
Mitchell County, Kansas is seeking proposals from an experienced web agency or development firm to redesign, redevelop, and implement a modern public website of approximately 95 existing pages. The selected vendor must evaluate and reorganize existing content, migrate relevant material, improve navigation and user experience, and provide a responsive website for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. The website must include a manageable content management system with browser-based editing, revision history, role-based permissions, and support for department-level content management. The scope includes ADA and WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility compliance, website and document search, public document management, multilingual capability, secure administration, software updates, SSL, backups, disaster recovery, hosting recommendations, maintenance, technical support, training, and project management. Vendors must describe their qualifications, project team, approach, accessibility testing, user acceptance testing, launch process, warranty, support options, and annual maintenance pricing. Proposals must include at least three references for comparable projects completed within the past five years. Optional branding services may be proposed and priced separately.
