Description
The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking a small-business contractor for a firm-fixed-price construction contract to refurbish and upgrade the ARSR building at the HTI facility. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, notifications, licenses, permits, fees, insurance, and supervision required by the scope of work, specifications, drawings, and other solicitation attachments. The facility may remain occupied and operational depending on the task, with FAA escorts and coordination for restricted areas and equipment shutdowns as needed. The solicitation requires a performance bond and payment bond, each equal to 100% of the contract price. A certificate of liability insurance is required upon award, and Davis-Bacon Wage Determination KS20260040 applies. The amendment adds RFI feedback, announces a September 1, 2026 site visit, and extends the proposal deadline to September 14, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Offerors must acknowledge amendments, complete and return the attached forms, use the HTI ARSR Blank SOV for unit pricing, and include the solicitation number in the email subject line.
