The U.S. Army is soliciting commercial microbiology testing kits and consumables for pathogen detection, including Salmonella, E. coli O157:H7, Shiga toxin-producing E. coli, Listeria monocytogenes, and other Listeria species. The requirement includes multi-tube units, waste-bin covers, auto-detect reagents, assay kits and calibrators, cleaning solutions, assay fluids, transfer tubes, pipette tips, biohazard waste bags, caps, and related consumables in the specified quantities. Products must be certified through the AOAC Research Institute Performance Tested Methods Program, delivered at the recommended temperature, and suitable for use with the Atlas Roka instrument on a brand-name-or-equal basis. The contractor must provide quality-assurance documentation meeting ISO 17025 standards for the kits, reagents, and sterile disposable items. The solicitation uses a lowest-price technically acceptable evaluation and requires all items to be offered on an all-or-none basis.
