The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services intends to enter into a single-source agreement with BioMerieux, Inc. for laboratory supplies used by the Division of Food Safety, Bureau of Laboratories. The purchase includes BioMerieux-brand test kits, reagents, assay cartridges, calibrators, and control materials for existing BioMerieux pathogen-detection instruments, supporting AOAC-validated testing methods and routine rapid detection of foodborne contaminants.
