Description

IDEA Greater Cincinnati, Inc. is soliciting proposals for a single, unified, cloud-native Firewall as a Service platform for its Ohio charter-school campuses. The solution must provide approximately 1,420 instructional licenses for a three-year term and align with NIST Special Publication 800-207 Zero Trust Architecture principles or an equivalent framework. Required capabilities include centralized policy management, identity-aware access controls, advanced threat prevention, secure web and DNS filtering, application visibility and control, secure Internet access, monitoring and reporting, cloud access security broker integrations, identity-services integration, private network access through tunnels or SD-WAN, and multi-edge secure access. On-premises or appliance-based solutions will not be considered. The selected vendor must provide licensing, implementation, configuration, maintenance, support, progress updates, E-Rate compliance, and cybersecurity incident notification. Minimum service commitments include 99.99% monthly availability, 24x7x365 critical-incident support, specified severity-based response times, advance maintenance notification, service credits, escalation procedures, and performance reporting. Content filtering and the GenAI Risk Module are separately itemized add-ons, with content filtering identified as E-Rate ineligible. Proposals must include firm pricing for the initial three-year term and pricing for two optional one-year renewals, along with a detailed response to the technical requirements and all required forms, certifications, references, pricing, and supporting documentation.
