Description
The City of Grand Junction is soliciting competitive bids for labor, equipment, and materials to repair concrete curb ramps at intersections along Patterson Road from 30 Road to 27 1/2 Road. The project includes approximately 1,465 square yards of concrete ramp replacement across 25 intersections, 450 square yards of concrete sidewalk, and 1,910 square yards of existing concrete and base removal. The work is intended to bring the ramps into compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines. Additional work includes asphalt patching, detectable warning panels, landscaping restoration, erosion control, mobilization, sanitary facilities, and traffic control. Addendum No. 1 clarifies that the extended monolithic curb, gutter, and sidewalk near 28 Road will be straight graded at approximately 0.5%; no fiber is required in the concrete mix; the City will conduct acceptance testing; and the warranty period is one year after final completion and acceptance. Bidders must use their standard surety form for the bid bond.
