The Bureau of Land Management is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor to improve and repair the Montrose Public Lands Center warehouse. The scope includes asbestos abatement; bathroom remodeling; flooring replacement; rooftop heating and cooling unit replacement; replacement of a manual overhead door with an electric overhead door; luminaire additions and replacements; electrical outlet additions and relocations; metal-roof service and maintenance; existing overhead-door repairs and maintenance; and photovoltaic inverter replacement. Work must occur Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, the day after Thanksgiving, and December 26–31, and must be completed within 180 days of the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 236220. It is a firm-fixed-price construction procurement using a best-value evaluation, with Davis-Bacon wages and potentially required bid, performance, and payment bonds. A site visit is scheduled for September 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Mountain Time, and questions are due October 14, 2026, at noon Mountain Time.
