Description
The City of Fruita is requesting proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to provide comprehensive, as-needed services for its wastewater treatment facility and collection system. The scope may include civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, chemical, instrumentation and controls, SCADA, odor control, energy-efficiency, regulatory compliance, permitting, data collection, condition assessments, planning, alternative studies, master plans, treatment process and hydraulic modeling, pilot studies, and sustainability evaluations. Services may also include preparation of final plans, specifications, construction cost opinions, constructability reviews, bid-phase assistance, construction support, shop-drawing and request-for-information review, progress meetings, record drawings, field consultation and inspection, and owner’s-advisor services. The selected firm will provide task-specific approaches, fees, and schedules under individual task orders. The initial agreement term is 12 months, with four additional 12-month extensions available by written agreement. Proposals must include a cover letter, company qualifications and relevant experience with references, proposed scope and deliverables, cost information, and the completed Solicitation Response Form.
