Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and California Correctional Health Care Services seek one contractor to develop, implement, manage, monitor, and maintain a statewide Dental Registry Network of temporary and relief dental staffing services. The network will provide as-needed coverage for temporary vacancies, extended employee leave, staffing shortages, emergencies, and services unavailable through civil service personnel across participating correctional institutions. Required provider classifications include dentists, registered dental hygienists, registered dental assistants, and certified dental laboratory technicians. The contractor must recruit and manage qualified provider groups, verify licenses and credentials, support credentialing and security-clearance requirements, provide training, maintain continuity of care, and meet specified staffing, responsiveness, quality, and regulatory performance standards. The contractor must also provide a web-based workforce management and scheduling system supporting service orders, scheduling, assignment confirmation, shift tracking, communication, electronic timekeeping and billing, credential and license tracking, compliance monitoring, audit trails, reporting, and system integration. The initial agreement term is 36 months with up to three optional one-year extensions. Proposals require a narrative response, implementation and work plans, qualifications and experience information, references, staffing and management information, electronic timekeeping system plan, rate sheets, and numerous certifications and attachments. Proposals must be submitted by email and include certified digital or scanned wet signatures where required.
