Description
Washington County Health and Human Services, Behavioral Health Division, Addictions Program, seeks a qualified provider to deliver client-centered, trauma-informed, strength-based substance use disorder community-based outreach services to individuals discharging from hospital emergency departments who have problematic substance use or a substance use disorder. Services include meeting individuals at convenient locations, assessing treatment, recovery, and related needs, and helping them access insurance, health services, housing, food, treatment, and recovery support. The provider must serve at least 100 individuals per fiscal year and employ outreach specialists. The provider must train staff on Washington County recovery resources, use evidence-based or promising practices, maintain quality assurance and improvement processes, participate in contract check-ins, audits, and compliance reviews, and submit quarterly reports and invoices. Respondents must confirm their ability to perform the scope, meet the stated responsibilities and qualifications, and have at least two years of relevant experience in both serving Washington County residents who use substances and providing evidence-based community-based outreach to emergency-department discharges. Contract terms are annual, with an option to renew for five years, subject to funding availability. A Letter of Interest response may be followed by an RFP process if needed.
