Description
Washington County Health and Human Services, Behavioral Health Division, is seeking behavioral health service organizations to host annual public events serving Washington County residents. Events may increase awareness and engagement with behavioral health services, secure funding for programs and initiatives, develop partnerships, celebrate behavioral health contributions, and provide community education to support wellness and reduce stigma. Providers must serve uninsured and underinsured individuals, serve Washington County residents, maintain services located within Washington County, align services with the applicable funding stream, and have at least two years of experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Providers must meet applicable certifications and Oregon administrative rules, use evidence-based or promising practices, maintain quality-improvement processes, comply with 42 CFR Part 2 where applicable, and obtain required insurance before contract execution. Funding is provided annually subject to approved proposals and available funds; the County does not guarantee equal funding, and all activities and events require County approval before funds are released. The agreement is for each year with an option to renew for five years.
