Description
The City of Forest Grove is soliciting construction services for water service improvements at McMenamins Grand Lodge. The work includes installation of a 4-inch ductile iron commercial water service system with mechanically restrained joints, a master meter vault, a secondary backflow prevention vault, a hot-tap connection to the live pressure main, and specialized electrical infrastructure for a continuous-duty sump pump. Additional work includes abandonment and decommissioning of legacy infrastructure, controlled low-strength material filling, removal and replacement of concrete curb and gutter and 4-inch PCC sidewalk, asphalt and surface restoration, traffic control, testing, flushing and disinfection of water mains, installation of valves and boxes, meter and backflow vault equipment, and general cleanup. The estimated project cost range is $160,000 to $235,000. The contractor must be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board, submit a bid bond of at least 10% of the total bid, comply with Oregon prevailing-wage requirements, and provide performance and labor-and-material payment bonds and required insurance upon award or contract execution. Work on Grand Lodge property is limited to 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the project must be completed by February 28, 2027.
